Welcome to the registration page for the 2025 Asian Pacific Association for Biomechanics Conference hosted by the University of Auckland! Join us from November 18th to November 21st for a dynamic gathering to share our knowledge in the field, and build a network of friendship and collegiality.

Registration Cancellation Policy
Info about cancellation policy
We reserve the right to change information displayed on our site (including these terms and conditions) at any time without notice.
Refunds / Cancellations
Registration cancellations will not be accepted unless made in writing to the Event Manager.
Cancellations received up until one month before the conference, 19 October 2025, will be refunded less 25% for administration and processing fees. No registration refunds will be made after this date.
As an alternative to cancellation, your registration can be transferred to another person in your organisation, if advised in writing no later than five days (14 November) before conference.

General Information
Attending
The conference is intended for academic and professional staff in higher, tertiary and adult education. Persons wishing to attend from any commercial organisation should first contact the Organisers to request approval to attend. No solicitation by any commercial organisation other than those who are sponsors is allowed.
Behaviour
The Organisers reserves the right to refuse admission to any participant.
You must not engage in offensive or inappropriate behaviour at the conference, including but not limited to wearing or otherwise displaying any commercial, political, religious or offensive signage or logos.
Without prejudice to any other rights which the organisers may have if you contravene any of these terms or Conditions, you may:
- Be refused entry to, or be removed from the venue;
- Have your ticket confiscated and/or cancelled without refund or recompense
- Be disqualified from purchasing tickets for or entering into other events organised or affiliated with EPHEA
- The organisers reserves the right to evict any person from the venue and the conference if they are in contravention of any of these Terms and Conditions.
Disability access
If you require disability-specific facilities, please notify the conference managers by indicating this as part of the registration process.
Dress
A smart casual dress code applies for all conference sessions and social functions.
Event Speakers
Any views expressed by speakers remain their personal views at all times. Subject to applicable law, The conference does not accept liability for any advice or views expressed by any speaker at any event or conference or in relation to any materials provided to delegates or attendees.
Insurance
It is strongly recommended that delegates take out adequate medical, travel and personal insurance before travelling.
Liability disclaimer
In the event of industrial disruption or other unforeseen circumstances, the conference organisers accept no responsibility for the loss of monies incurred by delegates.
Name badges
Wearing identification badges is mandatory and will be required for admission to all sessions and conference social functions. Registrations are non-transferable.
Photography
Official photography and videography may take place at the conference by a contractor approved by the conference organising committee to document the event. By agreeing to the terms and conditions, you authorise us to record you and use these photos and videos as a record of the event, at the event or as a promotion for future events. Please let us know if you do not wish to be included in these recordings.
You may use small cameras or smartphones at the conference to take photographs and videos/films for personal, non-commercial use, provided it’s not disruptive, intrusive, in breach of intellectual property or privacy rights or against the content owner’s will.
Liability
Without affecting any of your statutory consumer rights that cannot be lawfully excluded or limited: a) we will not be liable for any losses, damages, liability, claims or expenses (howsoever caused, including negligence, and whether direct, indirect or consequential) arising from the use of or connected with our site or any products or services purchased on our site, and b) we make no warranty or representation as to the fitness or suitability of any product or service displayed on our site or any linked site.
Neither APAB nor The University of Auckland shall be considered in breach to the extent that performance of their respective obligations is prevented by an event of Force Majeure, such as war, acts of terrorism, epidemics, pandemics or other health-related events, Government advisories, earthquakes, flood, fire or other physical natural disasters.
Where our liability cannot be excluded, to the extent permitted by law, such liability is limited to the value of the booking made. We sell accommodation from inventory supplied by each accommodation provider, and do not over-sell that inventory (we cannot accept liability for unavailability of rooms caused by an accommodation provider over-selling its own inventory).
